Highlights of a concert from last Tuesday commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. The BBC Symphony Orchestra performs pieces including Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, Serenade to Music and Symphony No 9 in E minor. Plus, conductor Sir Andrew Davis discusses Vaughan Williams's legacy and examines archive details of the composer's rehearsal for the premiere performance of Serenade to Music.
